Mechanical Booster Pumps

These pumps work in combination with fore vacuum pumps to enhance the overall performance of vacuum systems, achieving pressures as low as 10^-5 mbar. Mechanical Booster pumps operate without internal compression, meaning they cannot directly compress to atmospheric pressure and must always work with a suitable fore vacuum pump.
Typical combinations improve the achievable end pressure of a vacuum system by a factor of 10. The pumps feature integrated frequency converters that adjust motor speed to the load, ensuring efficient and safe operation across all pressure ranges.
At high pressures, the pump rotates more slowly and accelerates towards lower pressures until maximum speed is reached.
